Meet Jeff Wadden

Jeff’s been in this line of work a long time — 30 years around garbage trucks, starting out on the back of one in 1994. He joined Eastern 2.0 this past June and has been solid from day one.He keeps life pretty simple:• A loyal Patriots fan who doesn’t miss a game• Happy to watch any sport that’s on• Daily walks with his golden retriever, Jessie, at Powell’s Park• A New Glasgow guy through and through• And when he’s home, there’s usually a Seinfeld rerun playingJeff isn’t one for big speeches about work. He shows up, does the job, and appreciates being part of a place where people help each other out. Help Bjorn Find His Forever Home 🐾

We’ve picked up bins at North Nova SPCA for years — but today, our visit came with a few extra tail wags.That’s where we met Bjorn — a gentle giant with a heart as big as his paws.This XL American Bully Mix is two and a half years old, with a reddish-brown coat, calm eyes, and a personality that’s equal parts strength and sweetness. He’s best suited for a home with older teens and adults (14+) who can appreciate his size and gentle nature.The North Nova SPCA, along with their Thrift Store next door, relies on community support — not government funding — to care for incredible animals like Bjorn.
