The Town is pleased to announce a new contractor has been selected for residential waste collection services (clear bags and compost). The current contract expires at the end of September.What stays the same?• Your curbside collection schedule will not change. • Blue bags (recyclables) will continue to be collected by GFL and managed by Circular Materials. What's changing?• Waste and compost collection will be provided by Eastern 2.0 (look for the blue trucks!)• The yard waste drop-off location may change. Let’s GO Racing ! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁Happy IWK 250 Day! It's the biggest day in short track stock car racing in Canada and it's here!!! The pit opened at 9 and 25 top racers and teams are loading in. The box office and grandstand open at 11. Practice runs from 11 until 2. At 3 it's qualifying with Hanley Hot Laps (time trials) and Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races to set the grid. The pre-show starts at 5:30 with live entertainment and an autograph session. Opening Ceremonies are at 7 and we go green for the IWK 250 Presented by Steve Lewis at 7:35 p.m. Tickets available at the gate starting at 11 or online at bit.ly/3QDH65
