At Eastern 2.0 Waste Systems, we are committed to responsibly managing all the waste we collect. While not all materials are separated at the time of collection, we offer specialized bins for specific waste types, such as paper and hazardous materials, to ensure they are disposed of properly. By providing dedicated solutions for recyclable materials like paper, we help our clients reduce their environmental impact. Hazardous waste is handled with care and sent to licensed facilities that are equipped to manage such materials safely, complying with all relevant regulations.
For general waste, we follow strict disposal procedures, ensuring that everything is transported to approved and regulated landfills. Our team is trained in the latest waste management practices, and we work closely with local authorities to ensure compliance with environmental standards. Robbie has been with Jeff since the very beginning — 30 years, from the old Eastern Sanitation days straight through to Eastern 2.0.Subway is in his blood. His dad owned one in New Glasgow, and Robbie learned the ropes fast. Now he’s running the Antigonish location, and what he still enjoys most is simple: talking with his staff and the folks who walk through the door.Robbie says people keep coming back because Subway gives real value for money — lots of options, fast service, and food that’s fresh. Meet Jeff WaddenJeff’s been in this line of work a long time — 30 years around garbage trucks, starting out on the back of one in 1994.
