Truck Driver

Work consists of daily routes throughout our coverage area. 

Key Duties Include:

  • Complete and document a daily pre-trip inspection
  • Operate within the laws and legislation of Nova Scotia

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 (air brake endorsement) drivers license

Truck & Transport Mechanic

As a Red Seal Truck & Transport Mechanic, you will be responsible to perform work on our fleet of company owned vehicles at our shop in Antigonish, NS.

Key Duties Include:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems
  • Perform vehicle computer diagnosis
  • Repair vehicle mechanical systems
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Follow safety guidelines and injury prevention policies
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and cleanliness

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Registered Red Seal in the Truck & Transport Trade
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, including supervision of apprentices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (Class 3 or 1 would be an asset)
  • Must be able to legally work in Canada without sponsorship
